Midweek check in: fun and exciting things

The second part of birthday celebration was to play golf with hubby, first time since we moved to Jakarta. I took Monday morning off to spend time with him.

We started at 8am. It was already super sunny, glad I had full sun protection

the course is beautiful and the weather was perfect. Even air quality was good. I really enjoy golf when I play on the course. It’s just so relaxing

Husband didn’t play as well as he wanted, range practice is so different than playing on the course, but he still enjoyed playing with me. There was a tournament going so we couldn’t finish, left 2 holes, before I had to rush back to pick up the girls. That was 5.5 hours after we started.

Sofia is doing a mini ted talk at school and was trying out my cloth for something more formal. Lizzy tagged alone and was so funny to see her with my cloth on.

I had a great run on Tuesday morning and then went to the gym. To my surprise, husband has rescheduled his training from Monday to Tuesday, and joined me for a while. Love lifting weight with him.

The exciting part of the title is work related. I learned about a job opening on Tuesday and immediately I jumped out of my seat, excited about it! I will definitely apply this one. I want a job that excites me!!! I will probably spend January preparing for the interview, that part I am not excited about, but I know I should be my best to have a shot of getting the job. EXCITING TIME!!!

  1. That is exciting! I love how you’re so adventurous. Is this a job that involves moving? And how does it work with your husband- can he keep his same job and work from anywhere? I’m very curious about how these things work out. Anyway good luck with it!

    1. Yes, we will have to move there. My husband is not working. It’s part of our lifestyle now as we move from country to country, hard to keep a job. Fortunately he doesn’t mind and I worry less having him at home and be there for the kids. Nothing is sure yet, I have to go through the application process. Hopefully it’s a fast process so I know whether I get it or not.

  2. Hmm… I’ll take a wild guess- is it somehow a job in Argentina?? 🙂

What do the girls do you when you are both at the gym in the morning? Are they still sleeping at that time? I mean I know Sofia is plenty old enough to stay home alone but just curious if they just get up and start getting ready, etc or hang out and wait for you guys to get back or what? Looks like your husband is really serious about his exercise routine now! It’s been quite a long time now it seems that he’s been consistently working out. Good for him!

    1. I wish I can go to argentina but no. we can’t work on our own country.
I went to the gym after girls went to school. But they are old enough to stay at home alone for a while. I keep a phone at home so they can text me when we are out and about, usually 1 hour or so. In the morning, girls get up by alarm, Sofia can prepare breakfast by herself, Lizzy usually get along or asks daddy to make something for her.
