Sunday Sofia’s birthday party

We celebrated Sofia’s 12th birthday last Sunday, inviting 5 of her friends from school and then Lizzy’s friend joined as well. It was the easiest, low key, but high pay off party. Sofia sent out the invite, figured out who will come to what part. I was tasked to book the gazebbo (below), order lunch (McDonals and subway for the vegetarian girl), and the ice cream cake.

We arrived 10am and the girls left the gazebbo right away to play in the water

the water park is not big but good for 2-3 hrs of play. Lizzy and her friend loved this one

I spent 2 hours laying down listening to music while the girls played. Then at noon I got them lunch and they all enjoyed the rare occasion of junk food

we left 1:30pm to continue the party at home. First, the most anticipated ice cream cake that took some work to find. It was super good cake from ColdStone.

Sofia loved her presents, 3 jackets, water bottle, notebook, and craft. The party finished at 4pm, Sofia was exhausted hahaha… and had to take a nap. At the end of the day, she came to thank me for organizing the party, she had great time.

That’s part 1 of the celebration, the family will celebrate this weekend at a restaurant called Sofia. I am super excited to give her my gift, hope she likes it.

12 years! I can’t believe she’s already 12 years old! I will have to write another emotional post about her growth separately 🙂
