- I went to dentist for follow up and so far things are okay and no need for a re-do of root canal. Yet, I have an ulcer in my tongue that hurts even without eating. Sigh… I think the stress is finally getting to me. Hang in there, few more days/weeks.
- I enjoyed this simple lunch by myself quietly as hubby was taking an early nap. I especially like the combo of cabbage, tomato and tofu.

3. Lizzy’s reflection of the day made me smile. She had a talent show rehearsal and made some mistakes. The parent “judge” was mean.

4. I had a home massage which always gives me a great night of sleep. I finally found one therapist that I like, her name is Cara. While I was “annoyed” by the house noise while I was having the massage, I quickly snapped at my thought and remind me how grateful I am for having this in my house.
5. I was planning to work on day during the weekend, but given how tired I feel, I may just take a mental break, rest and recharge. I want to cozy up and watch a good TV series, any recommendation?
Commenting with a mean voice at a talent show seems just mean! Lizzy is so young still so it would be hard to get feedback like that. Good for her for participating in the talent show!
And ulcer on your tongue sounds painful! I hope it heals soon!

I’m glad that you don’t need another root canal, I hope that the tongue issue goes away.
I love to watch The Great British Bake Off. Such low stakes. We just finished a Netflix series, Nobody Wants This, about two Americans who fall in love. It’s a rom-com in series form, and the problem that threatens them is that he is a rabbi, and she is not Jewish. Will they figure it out? Who knows!

What?! Why would anyone be mean at a kids’ talent show? Sheesh. I would be sad, too!
Glad you had a good massage. And I am in favor of rest and relaxation this weekend. Like J, I adore The Great British Baking Show for cozy vibes.

That lady is no bueno! Cute that the thing that made her happy was you being at school! For shows, I enjoyed Netflix The Perfect Couple, Lupin and Inventing Anna, or if you want a laugh (despite a troubled time), The Derry Girls.

Lol… lady commented in a mean voice. What the heck, lady? Ha. Poor Lizzy!
OUCH I hate having a canker sore in my mouth/ tongue. That’s the worst. Sometimes it helps if you put some hydrogen peroxide on it.

Oh, i hope that ulcer in your mouth heals up! I hate those. But- yay for not needing a root canal re-do.
Glad you had such a good massage that helped you sleep! And, poor Lizzy. Sounds like she didn’t take it too personally though. But I don’t like “mean voices” around my kids!
