When September starts, I feel like the year is ending soon. Time flies and faster each hear. Thinking of upcoming events make me realize that the year is ending soon.
September: hardcore training for the marathon, Sofia birthday, Sofia school field trip.
October: Chicago marathon week, school break the last week of October, Lombok booked. I miss beaches!!! 8 year anniversary probably celebrated in an isolated island.
November: short trip to Manila for yearly check up post ICL surgery.
December: school break starting mid- month. Husband and my birthdays. Christmas at another idilic island at Raja Ampat.
Definitely a lot of fun coming up. But before that we need to endure the busy weeks with the girls after school activities starting in 10 days. Iām a bit anxious and excited about it at the same time. Our current routine will shift again.

I love getting out of the house in literally one minute! I am similar to you but only do mascara, so it is swipe, swipe and go! I don’t have the bandwidth to worry about much more than that!
I have heard great things about Raja Ampat but have never been! I can’t wait to hear all about it (and maybe get some tips!)

I love the fall season here but it also makes me a little nervous, because I know for me the time between November-December with all the extra holiday stuff we do ends up feeling very busy and full. (Although I really enjoy the festivities, decorating, etc, too!) But I guess I am realizing that basically every season is feeling pretty busy and full lately. HA. So I guess maybe it’s just a general season of life right now. They all seem to be busy in different ways. And you look great with no makeup! I definitely would not go out with zero makeup on- I have always had dark circles under my eyes even as a kid, so I don’t think I would show my face without at least some concealer on!

The no makeup look looks great! And the time saving is an added bonus! I’m excited for the final 1/3 of the year. I know it will be busy but it’s full of some of my favorite events/holidays. We do not have any family travel plans for the rest of the year. We kind of hunker down during the fall/early winter months. Next spring I am hoping we can go to the gulf coast of FL in April to warm up/get out of the cold.
