“Productive” week so far

“Productive” in quote because I consider doing nothing, vacation, letting mind wonder, just as productive for my soul 🙂

The conventional productivity this week has been high for me, more out of necessity given that I’ve taken too many days off this month. I am 99% up to date of work in 4 days, I consider it a success! 😉

I am back into “training” mode, focusing on strength. I did 3 session of almost an hour at the gym, leaving me sore all over for days!!!!!!!!! But all good. It feels good to be working out again after 3 weeks of hiatus, except the 2 days of strenuous hiking trip. I am also back into running, although extremely little and slow. I’ve changed to a new coach, the someone that Sarah uses. I am excited!

I am doing 4 days tracking of food/exercise, as part of a study to female active. It’s more tedious than I expected to take pic of food and send descriptions. I hope I am helping the researchers though. They will share the summary at the end of 4 days.

I am getting the habit of needing to have the next trip booked as soon as I finish one. There is 3 days break in November, and I booked the Orangutan tour. It will be in the jungle so short trip seems the right amount. I am worried about all kinds of insects, but it seems a MUST do in Indonesia.

I am happy to report that I am back into reading, I finished Nora goes off script in two days, loved it, and now into a non-fiction (the physiology of money).

Nothing is planned for this weekend and I am happy about it. I want to do some meal prep for the family, read a lot, watch some movies, and enjoy our routine.

  1. Orangutan tour! That sounds very interesting… can’t wait to see what that all entails!

Good job on getting back to some strength workouts and back into regular workout schedule in general. Hopefully you’ll be very happy with Sarah’s coach. Sounds like she really has been! Though sounds like he really pushes her which I suppose is good!

  2. Nora Goes Off Script is such a good romance novel! I didn’t think her follow-up novel was as successful, but I’ll always have Nora!

  3. Ha, I wish I could book the next trip right after I finish the last one… almost the best of every trip is the anticipation beforehand 🙂
