Shopping fun + workout report

Sunday plan included morning run (solo as girls came home late and wanted to sleep in), shopping trip to buy Christmas presents for each other, chess class, and a lot of reading time.

Our shopping trip was so much fun! we went to KKV separately, getting gifts for each other, and then check out separately as well to keep the surprise.

Getting gift for husband is not easy but I think I found the perfect one, candle with this

After our productive shopping trip, it was lunch time. We found a place called Dutch Baby, basically individual dutch baby with assorting toppings. Sofia got Alfredo chicken with extra cheese

and Lizzy got with katsu chicken with curry.

The rest of afternoon was chill and relax, mostly reading time for me. VERY RELAXING Sunday.

Last week’s workout

Mon: 30 min yoga, 15 min lower back injury prevention and 15 min mobility form Dynamic Runner

Tue: 4 miles easy with 4 strides (total 5 miles) + 60 min lower body strength

Wed: 4.1 miles easy, 30 min yoga, 15 min lower back injury prevention

Thur: 4 miles easy with 4 strides (total 5.4 miles) + 40 min full body strength and mobility

Fri: 60 min walk outdoor

Sat: 4 miles easy on TM. 50 min full body strength power

Sun: 8.2 miles solo. I really miss long runs so I did the full 8 miles (plan was 6-8 miles).

Total miles: 26.7

Strength: 3 sessions

Yoga: 2

That was a good week of workout. I still get sore here and there but much less than the previous weeks. Strength training is more enjoyable now, I like the feeling of getting stronger! 😉

  1. Excellent on your workouts! I need to get better about strength training. I like how it feels to be stronger.

Oh, Christmas presents…I was thinking about this today. I need to get started. I’m usually early on this but this year I’m just not feeling it. Sigh. I’ll get there.

  2. We have started to think about Christmas presents, too. We are super minimalistic as the kids get so much for the grandparents and extended family. But I wanted to come up with a plan so I can get things over the weekend when there are good sales. I had Paul go through all the catalogs he’s looked at/circled things in and narrow his list down. So now I sort of have a plan for him, and then we need to figure out Will’s birthday gifts as his bday is 12/3.
