Run run run

I’m behind in so many things. Planner empty since last week. 5 years journal not filled, workout journal not updated, year book not finished, regular blogs skipped. why?

Work load has not slowed down and I still owe people things which I don’t like. More meetings are added to my calendar because i asked for… all good as things are happening, after a year of doing the analysis.

Yet, I haven’t let any life balls fall yet

– girls started swimming practice at a new club

– all swimming equipments were bought

– Lizzy had a great playdate on sunday

– I meal prepped on sunday

– I got groceries on saturday

– I prepared potluck dishes for both girls

– I managed to arrive 1 min before the moving on ceremony at school for Sofia

– I managed to run per training log including 16 miles on Sunday

what balls did I drop?

– I haven’t read anything since 10 days ago

– I haven’t done any gym

– I haven’t call my mom

– I haven’t read many blog posts

not too bad overall. hopefully some rest is coming soon. And I can stop feeling behind and forgetting things.

2 more days of school and girls will start summer camp.

  1. My work life has been more manageable lately because schools are getting out and graduations are happening, etc, so our clients are less focused on work and more focused on personal things. Plus I haven’t traveled since mid-May so I feel like I have SO MUCH TIME. But I travel again next week so the break is coming to an end. But my travel is much more spaced out for the next several months and I don’t have any August trips and hope it stays that way! Good luck keeping all the plates spinning!!

  2. I hear you! I felt like this basically all spring, haha. It’s ok… as long as the most important things get done, don’t worry about it. I know it feels stressful and hard though when you don’t have time for all your normal routines. At least for me, life just kind of feels “off” when it’s like that.

  3. I got pretty behind on blog reading and writing and had NO excuse for it, other than I just wasn’t feeling it. Sigh. Hang in there, and I’m sure your job is very satisfying right now, even though it is very busy!
