this is Lizzy’s face when she got to eat homemade frozen mango ice cream (mango and cream). Super excited.

I am also excited for few things:
- My mom is arriving with full luggage of our goodies.
- My new de-stress strategies. I also made another two changes that seem reasonable: I made my phone gray scale; I stop listening to podcast/YouTube when doing mundane things like shower, brush my teeth, prep my breakfast, getting ready. This is consistent with stop-breath-be. It allows me to tune in with what I do. So far, I don’t find them hard once I embrace the change.
- My work related meetings are lining up, mostly career related meetings that are not necessarily pleasant but needed. I was suggested to meet many more, but I want to be strategic and not burn myself out either. And I get to see many old friends in DC.
- Can I add trader joes’ and TJ maxx as part of my excitement to DC?
- I read the sample of this book this morning and I want to read it ASAP! It made me laugh by thinking about the toilet scene.
Q: Do you always listen to something when doing chores/mundane tasks? Am I the only one?
I always listen to podcasts or music while doing chores, it makes it much more pleasant!

I listen to podcasts or audiobooks whenever possible – cleaning, cooking, walking the dog, exercising, brushing my teeth. I refuse to be alone with my thoughts.

I am an outlier. I used to but then I stopped. Since I started doing this Meru app, I started paying more attention to what I am actually doing. And I have to say- I like it!

I always listen to podcasts when doing mundane tasks, too. It makes the time feel like it’s being better utilized.

I never listen to anything when I do mundane chores… LOL that’s why I am not a podcast listener.
Can I add trader joes’ and TJ maxx as part of my excitement to DC? I say YES, YES!
