I am so exciting to joining San’s challenge! I debated about format and themes, and decided to go with journaling style, recording few things and sharing highlights of the day.
Highlights
- starting the day slow as it’s a non-run day. Sofia came to my room and we chatted about the exciting weekend she’ll have, and how cute is Cookie. It is real love!

Girls love McDonalds McMuffin so I ordered it for then every once in a while. Today is the day for the month of November. This setting is the most indulging and relaxing for Sofia: eat yummy food while reading

Sofia has a halloween social party at school tonight and she decided, together with her friends, to dress up like a cat. Nothing too scary but something. I like it. She’s wearing my shirt which fits her perfectly. Every time that she tries my cloth, it reminds me how big she is now.

Tasks accomplished:
- groceries
- meal prep: vegan shepherd pie
- organized notes for one upcoming interview
Best meal of the day: my beloved oatmeal

Workout: 20 min yoga
Media consumption: I watched 4 episodes of the Diplomat, season 2 which is much better than season 1
Reading: 45 min at 4am, State of Wonder. I absolutely love this book, beyond what I expected, and don’t want it to end.
Are you joining the challenge? What format will you follow?
Hooray Coco, so happy you’re also joining NaBloPoMo again and what a great idea to choose a format for the month! I’ll be looking forward to reading about your day-to-day. Your breakfast bowl looks amazing. Can you share again what’s all in it?Sofia looks so cute in her costume – is Halloween big in the Phillipines?

Oatmeal combo: oats, flax/chia, pumpkin puree, cacao powder, organic protein powder.
Halloween is not big at all here in Jakarta but some expats celebrate it.

It’s been too long since I read your posts – last NabLoPo to be precise. So glad to re-meet and catch up. I like your journaling style you will be doing. Specially the media consumption. That is interesting. I may have to steal that idea.
Happy NabLoPoMo to you.

No NoBloPoMo for me. It would be so hard for me to write a post every day when I tend to write 1-2/week! But I will read along and comment as much as I can!

I am doing NaBloPoMo too! I love the “reading and eating” photo! That is right up my alley. When I was a kid, I used to read and eat cheeze-its one by one. It was my favorite pastime. Cookie is pretty cute; it looks like she is okay with being held like a baby. My cat was not a fan of that!

So glad your joining again, too! A lot of times I just don’t take the time the rest of the year but November is for NaBoPoMo. I have no pre-planned posts but thought about also do it like you. I used to share a picture a day on Instgagram and thought if all else fails I can do something similar on the blog.

Oh, I loved that book too! And I’m glad to hear that The Diplomat season 2 is better than season 1. I don’t think we managed to finish it, but I wanted to like it.
