Day 2 & weird things I love about him

Highlights of the day:

Lizzy went to our buildings Halloween party and watched the wild robot.

Sofia went to a birthday sleepover.

I finished State of Wonder after my nap. Woooo!!! Will she write a sequel of this story? I want one!!!

Tasks accomplished:

  • paid all the bills (kids activities, helpers salary)
  • went to my dermatologist and got a new skin regime to treat occasional acne (haven’t had any for 8 months and had my second one in the last month, so better get it treated and prevent it getting worse) and sun spots after Perth
  • studied for 2 hrs

Best meal of the day:

Kimchi fried rice with tofu and assorted vegetables. I’m obsessed with it

Workout: 8 miles on treadmill and 25 min Tabatha for runners

Media: last episodes of the diplomat, blackpink songs

Reading: the state of wonder (finished), slow productivity (part 1).

Inspired by this post, here are few random things I love about my husband

  • When he wears black or white t-shirt
  • When he plays golf
  • When he’s at the gym lifting weight
  • When he sends me funny cat videos
  • He’s aging, maturing, so much more attractive than his teens years
  • Fresh hair cut
  • His nails, always cut and neat
  • His “obsession” with cleanness. He takes 2-3 showers a day
  • His undivided focus when watching a China auction
  • His ability to tell us about chinese history
  • When he pets Cookie and cut her nails
  • His knowledge about world happening, anything and everything
  • His enthusiasm toward food, especially when made by me
  • His willingness to handle Sofia’s math homework, most of the time with little patience, but still it saves me from having to do it
  • He let me be me, never asked me to change
  • He’s my biggest and loyalist supporter
  • His chill vibe, especially when I am stressed out about something, big or small
  • Hoping I can sleep well after my interview that finished at 12am, not disturbing me at 5am the next day as he gets up to drive Sofia to swim training, he offered and slept at the couch
  • Above of all, I love the freedom when I’m with him. He supports me and loves me no matter what I do. Isn’t that called unconditional love?

  1. Tell me more about tabata for runners!

I’d hope every husband would let their wives be who they are. Nobody can change for anybody else. Sounds like you found a good guy! 😉

  2. What a sweet list of things you love about your husband. It sounds like you have a wonderful partner by your side!!

I’ve heard that Wild Robot is so good. I want to read the book before seeing the movie, though.
