Pampering day

One of the things I “promised” myself to do after I get the job is to cut/color my hair so that was Sunday main activity. Sofia went with me as Lizzy had a birthday party. It was not as long as I was expecting, we were done in 2 hours and I love how it turned out. Will share a pic tomorrow.

we had pepper lunch again, Sofia’s favorite fast food. It is so nice to hang out with Sofia alone. She’s a big girl and I love we have so much to talk about. She feels these occasions super special.

Lizzy meanwhile had a 6 hrs birthday party with her best friend. The girl invited one guest for the “party”: Lizzy. Hahaha… The mom, who’s my colleague friend, arranged private cooking lessons for them, which they spent exactly 10 in on, before running away to play. They also spent few hours at the super park. What a blast!

I wanted to do my eye lashes too, for a total makeover, but I got sleepy when we got home after getting groceries, so I took a quick nap instead.

Sofia made candied grapes, which didn’t turn out well. She was super not fussy about it and said: failure is good. Next weekend I’ll try again. I love the spirit! I think the school is doing a good job in normalizing failure, even encouraging kids to fail as that’s a sign that they are trying, pushing their boundaries. I love it!!!

After my short nap, I made banana crepes for girls’ breakfast, and made egg muffin sandwiches for their lunches. What a brilliant idea to make it that way. Lizzy had one for dinner as she didn’t like the food at the party and loved it.

I went to bed 7:30pm and fell asleep 7:45pm. I think my body is finally realizing that I can collapse now 😉
