It was an unusually good Monday. I guess life is good when a big stress factor is lifted 🙂
- Cleared my to-do list that I’ve been holding back at work.
- Had a team lunch when I informed them about my move and promotion, before it was announced by my manager. Always better telling people in person than finding out “officially”.
- School applications done for both girls. Still need to figure out few gap months for Lizzy.
- Informed current school about their departure as they also need to fill forms for them.
- Informed my helper about our move. She was sad and definitely worried whether she’ll find another family right after. She’s a single mom of 3, life is hard for her.
- Ordered groceries: these days I feel like ordering every other day because we always miss something. fortunately ordering and delivering is super easy.
My official start date for the new job is set for February 15, 2025. Once that’s set, I can start working toward our move, either right after or a month later.
EXCITING time ahead. 😀
Our New Journey 
Feb 15 is so soon!! Will you live in temp housing initially? Ir seems like it would be hard to arrange housing remotely and it would be a big trip to visit Brazil ahead of time! But how exciting for all of you.
