Omakase experience

I managed to arrive Brasilia at 1am, got home 2am to find that girls set an alarm to wake up to say hi to me. Soooooo sweet! After a hug they went back to bed. I packed for the biz trip and went to sleep at 2:30 to wake up at 5am to catch my 645am flight.

I had meetings all day until 6:30om perfectly timed with our omakase experience. My boss suggested us to splurge to celebrate my race, I couldn’t refuse. And here’s the 16 course dinner which is not vegan but rather pescatarian:

It’s a fusion cuisine of Japanese Korean Brasilia and Ghana, Michelin 2026. My first ever Michelin experience.

Miso soup that is not the traditional way

Edamame hummus with tapioca chip

Rice croquet

Fried oyster with blue tuna fish soup

Sushi taco with tuna

Shrimp tempura

Yellow fin from Japan and tuna from Brazil

Crispy rice topped with Argentina blue crabs

Black rice topped with grilled fish

Hand roll with two types of eel fish

Casava soup with tofu and lobster

Sorbete to clean the palate

Brownie mochi cake and pistachio ice cream

For each dish the chef would provide a detailed explanation and suggestion how to eat it. It was a unique sensory experience and super filling.

Despite little sleep I stood up until the end with full energy to chat with my boss. It was worth the effort.

Now sleep some and catch morning flight back to Brasilia, to unpack and pack again.
