- I finished the 4.5 hrs Argentinian movie, and still don’t know what is it about! How embarrassing!!! It’s a movie that feels like a piece of art. The artist is expressing something but it’s so not clear that the observer can interpret however I want. It’s indeed an interesting movie but not mainstream.
- I read my first fiction book for like ages. It’s called Tuya, an Argentinian author, a short story about a family tragedy. I like it because it makes me feel closer to my “hometown” (second hometown where I spent the most formative years of my life). The plot is not obvious and it develops and twists quickly. Now, I’m into reading its sequel, another short story. Maybe after two short fiction books, I can read something longer.
- Girls are growing up so fast. It was holiday on Thursday and we spent the day at home as I was feeling tired and sleepy. Girls played together, listening to music in their room, going to the pool alone, playing well without fighting, for a change. Sofia asked to learn to make scrambled eggs with tomato. I taught her step by step and she made it for dinner. I am so happy they are learning life skills. 🙂
- I am not fully recovered from last week’s illness. Maybe because I had an hectic weekend right after initial recovery, maybe because I didn’t feel recover. While I don’t have fever, I am tired and my resting heart rate 10 beats higher than normal, which worries me a bit. I will probably see the doctor again because next week will be super busy and I can’t afford to be sick.
- Girls’ after school activities are ending this week. School ends in two weeks. Sofia will move to another campus next school year as she’ll enter middle school. I can feel her anxiety about it as it will be a different setup for her. I will be supporting her while letting her figure things out.
You had such a busy weekend last weekend with late nights and early mornings so your body is probably taking longer to get over the virus you had. Hopefully you can really prioritize rest this weekend so this illness doesn’t linger. That is one thing RA has really taught me – if I don’t prioritize rest and listen to my body, I pay for it.
It’s nice that the girls can be a bit more independent and can play together without fighting! Our boys have been fighting more lately and it drives me nuts!!!

I am so ready for a little break from all the spring activities! It was an intense season for us and just so much driving, so many games, practices, etc.
That movie sounds a little frustrating! lol! I am not really into movies that are so “deep” that they go over my head. 😆 I guess I’ll stick with mostly just fun comedies etc. haha.

I hope you get some more rest… I am not surprised your body is still not fully recovered.
