4:05am wake up, feeling excited and nervous about the interview scheduled at 9pm.
5:30am: check work email and found that the interview is being rescheduled. PANIC & EXCITEMENT! Did I get the other job or is it genuinely rescheduling.
9am: got to office. Asked the other colleague whether his interview is still on scheduled. He is. EXCITEMENT side is increasing because this is very odd.
9-7pm: work on hyper active mode, feeling that I am a loaded gun but forbidden to shoot.
Didn’t sleep well at all and woke up at 3am, wondering if I will receive an email for the new schedule for the interview or the good news.
4:05am: decided to get up.
4:30am: check work email. The hiring manager wanted to talk to me.
5:10am: got his call and OFFER for the job. Thew new job will be in BRASILIA!!!
5:30am: wake up husband shaking him!!! Then Lizzy came in, kept shaking her out of excitement, then Sofia! I had to hold myself not to shake the cat.
This is the ideal job for us at this moment, and a promotion, so I can’t be happier for this outcome!
The rest of the day was to call/text friends from work and family about the news.
Had solo lunch with husband for first round of celebration, and will the family for dinner as second round. Many more rounds to come!
Will share more details tomorrow, this is to say THANK YOU FOR KEEPING UP WITH ME venting about the work stress. Luckily it got sorted it out quickly before I lose all my readers 🙂
