We are leaving today for our girls trip to LA for 10 days. We are super excited, although I’m a bit stressed as I will be taking care of them alone in a moving around trip. The last time we did a girls trip was for orangutan viewing, in a boat, so super chill. I will be driving in LA, notorious for bad traffic. I’m not familiar with the place, I don’t have all mapped out. Yet, I’m embracing the adventure and confident that the girls will help out more now that they are older. Another stress factor is sleeping in one room with them throughout the trip. I decided to book hotels (4 hotels to be exactly) instead of Airbnb because i think hotels are safer for us for this trip. I bought my earplugs, I plan to use the lobby for some alone time, and let them watch TV when I really need a break.
Daddy will be enjoying quiet time with Cookie, which I’m sure he needs after our move.
I’ve downloaded enough episodes of money heist to watch on our journey to LAX. We will arrive midnight and crash at the airport hotel for the night.

Enjoy your trip! For what it’s worth, we almost always stay in hotels. The only time we’ve used VRBO is in Maui, when it’s just worthwhile to get a condo.
I’m sure you’ll have a great time! The girls are older now, and they are sure to be more helpful and also fun!
