Every time I see someone waiting at the light stop selling snacks, I buy them. In a country that gets easy social assistance, the choice of running under the sun to make a living is admirable and should be supported.

Sofia started 4 days of swim competition. It started yesterday although I thought it would start today so we had to rush to the venue. Sigh… sometimes I can’t hold all the balls.

Related to cat news, after several days of thinking about adopting a new cat, I finally reached out to the owner to see whether someone has adopted her. I was ready to get her mostly because I feel the urge to pay forward. We are all healthy and well, I could help a cat. But she got a new home so case closed. No more indecision. When I told Sofia about this she said: good, no more guilt.
What I learned through the process is that it was an emotional decision, not a rational one.
