Watching. The diplomat season 4. We watched 3 episodes yesterday, me and the girls, and loving it. We especially love the dialogue, so precise and smart.
Feeling. Mixed feeling between excitement, anxiety, fear, gratitude, and love. Isn’t it part of being human to feel deeply all these at the same time?! What wonders me the most is how much I can love my girls.
Eating. My meals are boring. I have little desire to cook this week so I’ve been making easy meals for the family and myself.

Sharing happy moments. Sofia joined me for Slimfit this Thursday and she liked it enough to want to go back

Thinking. For the past 6 weeks Lizzy and I spent most of our free doing test prep. I am proud of her aptitude to study for it. She’s 10 years old and has been spending hours spending in some days. There are so many new topics that she hasn’t learned and now can do most of exercises. She’s afraid what I’d do if she doesn’t pass the exam (she’s doing the exam as I am typing). I told her, and sincerely from my heart, that no matter the outcome I am already very proud of her to put on the effort. During the process, she has learned to study in a way she has not done before (reading explanation, finding strategy, correct her mistakes, take notes, review note, and repeat by 100 times). I am certain that these skills will be useful no matter what. This made me realize how little attention or naive about the test when Sofia did it last year. I didn’t spend a minute with her to prepare it, she did all by herself, and miraculously passed.
Looking forward to a non-study non-work weekend before girls go back to school next week.
