Gratitude list:
- Running: no matter how lost/bad/frustrated I am, I always feel much better after a sweaty run.
- Unexpected visit: I had two wonderful ladies at home yesterday, unexpectedly. We chatted about work, life, and frustrations. I felt back to my feet after that visit.
Yesterday i woke up feeling a bit lost, like suddenly lost of my worth and what I expect from myself. I didn’t know where that came from, but I couldn’t get the feeling out of my system most of the day. I didn’t plan to work on a Saturday, but ended up working most of the morning, trying to be busy and find worth at work, which is quite sad. But i guess sometimes it just happens and we shouldn’t over analyse it, just let it run its course, and be hopeful that it will pass, like it always does, soon.
Indeed by the afternoon I was back to my normal self, had a great afternoon chat with friends, and finished with a movie with the family. It was a good day after all.
At least I made a good lunch for the family: stir-fry noodles with vegetables and shrimp. Pantry item used: noodles.
Last year this time we were in Europe. This picture really describes very well our feeling at the time! So excited to explore a new continent with the girls. Hope we can go back soon.
