I have been in a calm and joyful state of mind for a while, probably after I consistently meditated with Tara’s guidance. Yesterday’s session really brought to home my feelings. It describes exactly how I feel most of days and that is called inner peace.
Peace is this moment without judgment.
That is all. This moment in the Heart-space
where everything that is is welcome.
Peace is this moment without thinking
that it should be some other way,
that you should feel some other thing,
that your life should unfold according to your plans. -by Dorothy Hunt
โOur Sunday started with morning run and bike, 6 miles in total as I felt sore after gym session on Saturday. I love my new sunglass for running, no movement despite I am a sweat mess all the time.

I love my Sunday post-run ritual of taking a bath, this time I elevated the experience by lightening some candles. It felt luxurious with this simple change.

I made a batch of tahini oatmeal chocolate chips cookies for the girls. Sofia loves it, Lizzy dislikes it. How different are the taste buds. In general Sofia likes all my healthy bakings, Lizzy prefers the non-healthy versions, even at blind test.

After girls’ soccer, we went to a Japanese restaurant for lunch. Girls love this place as you make orders through an iPad and food starts preparing as soon as you order it, perfect for impatient and hungry girls.

Lizzy had noodles, fried chicken, and grilled fish. Sofia had sushi and noodles.

A lot of food and all eaten ๐

We had a low key afternoon. Piano theory, reading, nap, and continued vacation for the girls for few more days.
I had a busy Monday in the office, a full day from 9 to 5pm. I had to work once home up to 8:30pm… an intense way to get back to work after 4 days of holidays. ๐
Oh how I love sushi. It just all looks…so good.
And I have those exact same Amazon basic silpat sheets and just used them the other day for making drop biscuits! It’s always fun to see a product you own show up in someone else’s feed ๐
