Moments:
- Listening to Sofia’s playlist and surprised to find her latest piano song to learn (which I showed her but didn’t expect she’d listen to it).
- Seeing other runners’ running shirt, indicating past races, running related quotes.
- Seeing other runners, older than me and experienced runner, finishing a workout. Her face is a mixed of pain and joy.
- Running to girls’ school drop off place and catch them to say good luck on an exam day. Later that night, Lizzy said it was so lucky to see me in the morning. I told her: it was not luck; I ran to that place to meet her.
- Sofia’s new green neon short. A color that we would not think how well it fit her.
- Good air in a week day, the day of my speed workout, which made me excited to tackle it.
- Listening to Lizzy’s playlist, smiling at her cheerful music taste.
- Getting a snack pack from colleague just because she likes it and wanted me to try it.
- Getting an extra serving of my favorite at-office-snack from the convenience store – baked sweet potato- to a colleague. He liked it and ate all three of them.
- Explaining girls what’s future nostalgia dua lipa’s concert name. I told them it’s me already anticipating the feeling of this moment with them in the near future, when they leave this nest. Lizzy said: let’s not talk about it. Then when she curled up on me before sleep. She asked: why we need college? I said so you can learn things. She said: why can’t we learn in grade school? so we can still live at home. Ohhhhh….
Things:
- Sofia’s new school volcano t-shirt. I really like how it fits her.

- Our high speed blender, air fryer, and instant pot. I’ve had them for years, all brought from the US, so at least 7+ years. I still use them every week.
All such good things – I love that you ran to the girls’ school to see them.
It’s smart to listen to a piano song that Sofia is learning – it’s such a good tool to learn!

Love the list! So awesome that Sofia had her piano piece on the playlist! haha I’d be shocked if my boys had ever done that… lol. I wish. Need to see the neon green shorts! I bet those do look great on her.

Aww Sofia’s comments about college are sweet. My boys are in that stage where they say they want to marry me and never leave home. It will change with time but it’s sweet when they cling to us as that is a limited stage of life!!
