A good day, finally

After a bumpy start and mid-week, I am happy to report that I had a great Friday.

Highlights:

My readiness was high thanks for a good night of sleep. It made me laugh the message from Oura.

I went to the dentist and may be able to avoid a re-do of root canal. Under antibiotic and anti inflamation medicine for few days and will return to check.

I spent the morning organizing my office and look what I found. Pic of me and husband 24 years ago! hahaha…. He looks like a chubby baby boy.

I found all my race metals

I took a nap while reading Bel Canto, almost half way and still not sure I like it.

Cooking and baking while listening to Ina’s memoire…. what a perfect combo! I LOVED the experience. I made an apple cake and cookies, while also preparing dinner for the girls (pizza night!)

Best meal was my lunch: veggie centered and kabocha. I love how my helper prepares vegetable dishes. Fresh made is the best.

Workout: 45 min yoga

Media: none

Reading: Bel Canto and Ina’s memoire (almost finishing it)

Still no news on the job I interviewed for. My patience is going down, my anxiety is going up. But I can do nothing but wait now.

  1. I keep hearing how good Ina’s memoir is, I’m looking forward to reading or listening to it.

I’m glad you got some good sleep, and I hope the antibiotics and anti inflammatory works so you don’t have to go back in to the root canal. Do you have a crown over the root canal? Asking because…last year I had a crown, and then about 6 months later I had a lot of pain, and the dentist ground down my crown a bit, she thought I was grinding my teeth and the bite wasn’t right. It helped, but I was still in pain. I went back, and I had to have a root canal. I had an infection that they cleaned out (not sure why they didn’t give me antibiotics, but they said they got it all out physically). 6 or 8 weeks later, I was still having pain. I went back to the dentist, and she ground the crown down a bit more, and that solved the problem. Next time you go in, if you have a relatively new crown, have the dentist check your bite.

  2. I hope you hear about the interview. That is so nerve wracking! I am glad the week was otherwise great, though. I am envious of the good nights of sleep. My sleep has not been great lately but I have to spread my prednisone out between morning and night so I don’t have so much pain in the morning and taking it at night SUCKS!!

  3. Oh, I have Ina’s memoire on my Christmas wish list. I’m really hoping someone in the family buys it for me. And I can’t believe it, wow, that’s a lot of medals. Bravo!
