Back to our routine low key weekends filled with so many joyful moments!
I am ENJOYING so much this book! One of my closest friend is from Nigeria and I love the whole new to US experience from the perspective of a young girl. I’m 1/3 way into the book and already not wanting it to end.
I love hearing Sofia’s new song during sunrise. When she started 8 years ago, I would not have thought she’d still be playing now. Even Lizzy’s playing has matured a lot.
I learned to folder/organize my closet a la helper. Now that we don’t have full time, our closet is not as organized as before. Instead of being frustrated, I took time to learn and organize it. It bought me joy to see it organized.
I learned that one of the lady in my Saturday slimfit class is turning 72 this week! 72 and still lifting!!!!!!!!! What an inspiration.
I listened to this album from start to end on my Sunday 12 miles run. I rarely listen to a full album and the experience has inspired me to do this more often. What’s your latest favorite album?
I FaceTime with mom for over an hour on Sunday while our Filipina helper did all the vegetables prep for next week.
I found lamb in the farmers’ market and made gyros for the family

girls are in love with this meal format. As Sofia often says, a good meal usually requires hands and messiness.

We all loved Project Hail Mary, we watched it altogether and end the evening with a big smile. Oh Ryan, he’s sooooo cute!
I absolutely love Monday mornings, rest day, to start it chill music while planned the week ahead.

I am glad that while we are back into routine, my mind is still calm and to-do-listless. Maybe I got a hold of organizing our life? Or maybe this is a temporary illusion. Oh maybe we are all in a cheerful state that makes everything seem easier. Even my mom said Sofia seems in high spirit lately. I told her probably she’s overcoming her biggest fear, lack of confidence, thanks to her summer camp experience.
What are you looking forward this week? I’m looking forward to the first swim meet up this season and a lunch with the person who introduced to slimfit.
Have you planned anything fun ahead? I am booking my massage midweek. And I’m excited for this week’s running workouts
I’m going with option 3, you’re all in a cheerful state that makes everything seem easier! Such a nice weekend, Coco!
I’m glad everything is feeling so easy and light right now. And that 72-year old lady at your gym, wow! You do proper heavy weights at the gym, right? Like deadlifts with 50+ kilos?

i’m not at 50kg mark yet, rather 30kg, soon up to 35. my goal is to lift my body weight by end of the year or close to it.
