Life and favorites week 3

Work got busier this week. Volcano eruption is still ongoing and we don’t know how long it will last. So our office gave each of us two masks. They look super ugly and uncomfortable, but better safe than sorry.

I thought sharing my morning tasks, almost in a daily basis. I get up around 4:30-5am. Have my office while browsing blogs. Then around 5:30 I prepare breakfast for the girls: pancakes with peanut butter and syrup (left), and with coconut chocolate sauce (right).

I cook and pack lunch for the husband, who’s doing 100 day vegan challenge starting in January 1. For this particular day, I packed mixed brown rice and red rice, and a stir-fry of cauliflower, black fungus and smoked tofu.

I also prepared lunch for Sofia who eats at school. She loves pasta with cheese.

for the little one, I packed a snack box: apple, popcorn, and peanut butter pretzel

Husband’s breakfast: oatmeal with pumpkin and chocolate protein powder, WW waffle and pancake, some apple too. He likes to have a big breakfast

Then I’ll accompany the girls to have their breakfast before they leave for school around 6:50am

Our Sundays are usually plan-free and super relaxed. After I did my morning run with the group (9 miles this time), I came home and the girls are doing some home cleaning

For lunch, we made pancakes and scrambled eggs together, and served picnic style. They loved it!

for the adults, we had WW wrap with lettuce, cucumber/tomato/parsley salad, tahini dressing, and homemade falafel. Each of us also had a bowl of soup. We both enjoyed the meal a lot!
